Bracknell Forest Council is seeking an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist to work within the Adult Community Team (ACT) on a temporary basis. The role is based in Time Square, Bracknell with hybrid working and a 37-hour week.

You will assess adults with physical disabilities and longer-term care needs, using practical, person-centred approaches to promote independence and safety in the community. Flexible working arrangements and strong professional development support are offered.

Qualificações

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with Adult Social Care experience.
• Experience assessing adults with physical disabilities and longer-term care needs.
• Knowledge of Care Act requirements and safeguarding.

Responsabilidades

• Work with individuals to identify needs and undertake comprehensive assessments to maximise independence and control.
• Manage your own caseload and collaborate with colleagues across the People Directorate.
• Assess, plan and deliver interventions relating to manual handling, seating, equipment and minor adaptations.
• Participate in safeguarding assessments and planning when required.
• Provide high-quality, person-centred care using Care Act-compliant, cost-effective solutions.
