Job summary

East Durham Medical Group in County Durham is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a forward-thinking team across multiple sites. You will assess, diagnose and manage patients from birth onwards, working within the Enhanced Access and PCN pathways, and rotating between sites to cover the service in the region.

The role requires autonomous practice, involvement in 111 referrals, and participation in a Saturday rota as part of contracted duties.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and communication skills for patient-facing care.
• Ability to work as part of a busy multi-site practice team.
• Desirable experience with the 111 service is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients across the Practice and Enhanced Access Service.
• Assess and treat patients within the nurse practitioner role.
• Work across multiple sites with travel between them.
• Provide clinical leadership within the practice team.
