Job summary

St Andrews Medical Centre in Manchester is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a busy GP practice. The role is full-time (37.5 hours across 5 days) with autonomy to manage your own clinical workload while supported by a multidisciplinary team.

You will assess and manage patients with acute and minor illness, prescribe where appropriate and contribute to same-day care delivery within a forward-thinking practice offering opportunities to develop your role.

Qualifications

• Experienced in assessing and managing acute and undifferentiated presentations.
• Independent prescribing within scope of practice.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with acute and minor illness.
• Take medical histories and perform appropriate physical examinations.
• Prescribe medications within scope as an Independent Prescriber.
• Order and interpret investigations and tests as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to guidelines.
• Collaborate with GPs, nurses and pharmacists to provide high-quality care.
