Job summary

Xealthcare Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered General Manager for a Kent-based nursing home. You will assume full responsibility for clinical, operational and commercial performance with autonomy and direct access to senior leadership.

The role requires an NMC-registered nurse with proven CQC Registered Manager experience, strong governance, and a track record of improving care quality and occupancy.

Qualifications

• Active UK NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Proven leadership and people-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Own the clinical, operational and commercial performance of the home.
• Lead and develop the management and care teams.
• Maintain high CQC compliance and clinical governance.
• Drive quality improvement and inspection readiness.
• Maintain high standards of resident and family experience.
• Manage occupancy, referrals, budgets and operational performance.
• Develop a positive, accountable team culture.
• Build strong relationships with families and local professionals.
• Identify opportunities for service development and innovation.
• Ensure person-centred care remains at the heart of the service.
