Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a GP practice in Egham. You will run autonomous clinics, delivering clinical assessments and managing urgent and routine patient needs within a structured primary care environment.

You will join a multidisciplinary team with strong admin support and clear pathways, enabling flexible sessions up to 4 days per week, with morning or afternoon clinics and ongoing sessions.

Qualifications

• ACP qualification Level 7 or postgraduate qualification.
• Experience in primary/urgent care settings.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting acute and same-day access clinics
• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentations
• Telephone triage and clinical streaming
• Ordering and interpreting investigations
• Prescribing safely within scope (where qualified)
• Managing follow-up actions, results and referral workflows
• Documenting clearly using the practice clinical system
