Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and intervene with adults with learning disabilities in community and home settings. You will work autonomously within the learning disability service, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and engaging carers in treatment plans.

You will also participate in ward rounds and MDT meetings, ensuring documentation meets RCOT and ABUHB standards.

Qualifications

• Independent assessment and intervention in autonomous manner.
• Ability to assess risks and respond appropriately.
• Engage carers/families in the therapeutic process.

Responsabilités

• Manage a varied and complex caseload of adults with learning disabilities.
• Provide Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention in community and home settings.
• Plan, implement, evaluate and review treatment plans individually and in groups.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team and participate in MDT meetings and ward rounds.
• Maintain records and documentation in line with RCOT standards and ABUHB guidelines.
