Job summary

Salutem Care & Education is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the therapy team at Beaumont College South Lakes in Ulverston. The role involves managing a caseload of young people with complex conditions and delivering specialised assessments and interventions to promote independence.

You will work autonomously within an MDT, maintain accurate records, and provide staff training on therapy equipment and approaches while ensuring safeguarding standards are met.

Qualifications

• Qualified occupational therapist with HCPC registration.
• Experience delivering OT assessments and interventions.
• Ability to work with young people with autism and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of young people with complex conditions.
• undertake specialised OT assessments and treatments as autonomous practitioner.
• Deliver OT interventions to promote independence in daily living and education tasks.
• Provide equipment advice and training to staff.
• Maintain up-to-date OT records and ensure safeguarding practices.
