Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with adults with learning disabilities in the community and home settings. You will work as part of the Learning Disabilities OT service, coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team and across service settings.

The role involves independent caseload management, home visits, and involvement in ward rounds and MDT meetings. Welsh/English speakers welcome; Band 6, part-time, pro rata salary.

Qualificações

• Essential: Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Essential: Relevant clinical experience in learning disability
• Desirable: Practice Placement Educator
• Desirable: Supervision experience of junior/unregistered staff or students

Responsabilidades

• Assess and provide Occupational Therapy intervention autonomously.
• Assess risks and respond appropriately.
• Plan, implement, evaluate and review treatment plans both individually and in groups.
• Undertake specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.
• Discharge home assessments and community interventions as appropriate.
• Engage carers/families in the therapeutic process.
• Manage and prioritise caseload independently.
• Reflect on and improve clinical practice; integrate new knowledge.
