Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced midwife to join the Lavender Homebirth Team, delivering truly personalised, woman‑centred care across pregnancy, birth and the postnatal journey. You will work with your named buddy midwife, manage a caseload within the Frimley Health catchment, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, informed planning.

You will contribute to continuity of care, support homebirth choices, and maintain high clinical standards

Qualifications

• Committed to providing continuity of care across pregnancy, birth and postnatal period.
• Passion for homebirth and informed choice.
• Ability to work with autonomy and manage a caseload.
• Strong communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Work as a midwife within the Lavender Homebirth Team across maternity services as required (community, antenatal, labour ward, postnatal, birth centre, clinics).
• Provide woman‑centred care and participate in risk assessment and care planning.
• Develop autonomous practice and take responsibility as a prime care provider in hospital or community settings.
