Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 6 Midwife to join the Lavender Homebirth Team on a 30-hour per week contract. This role focuses on continuity of care, homebirth, and personalised support through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal journey.

You will work with a named buddy, manage your own caseload across Frimley Health’s catchment, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and continue your post-registration education to advance autonomous practice in community

Qualifications

• Diploma or BSc in Midwifery Studies required.
• Registered Midwife on the NMC register.
• Registered Nurse.
• Experience in continuity of care and homebirth preferred.
• Commitment to post-registration education and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide midwifery care across maternity services per unit needs.
• Manage a caseload with a buddy midwife.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care planning.
• Deliver woman-centred, homebirth focused care.
• Uphold NMC Midwives' Rules and code.
