Job summary

Elev8 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering projects from enquiry through to completion, working with customers on site and exercising autonomy to influence delivery. The role covers pipework, fabrication, and multi-disciplinary environments across pharma, chemical and manufacturing sectors.

You will manage programmes, budgets, and subcontractors while coordinating fabrication and installation teams, with a focus on on-time, within-budget delivery and direct customer

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineering or mechanical projects and direct customer interaction.
• Experience in mechanical engineering, fabrication or industrial pipework.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
• Experience with quoting, commercial awareness, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Taking full ownership of engineering projects from enquiry through to completion.
• Meeting customers on site to understand requirements and develop practical solutions.
• Preparing quotations and project plans.
• Managing project programmes using Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
• Coordinating workshop fabrication and site installation teams.
• Managing budgets, programmes and subcontractors.
• Building long-term relationships with customers.
• Solving technical and delivery challenges before they become problems.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
