Job summary

Powys Teaching Health Board, based in Wales, is recruiting a Community Staff Nurse to deliver prescribed nursing care, perform holistic assessments and develop, implement and evaluate evidence-based care within the district nursing service.

You will work autonomously in clinical practice with support from the clinical lead, joining the Llandrindod Wells District Nursing Team in permanent full- or part-time posts. A structured preceptorship supports professional development.

Qualifications

• NMC registered and current UK professional registration.
• Welsh language skills or willingness to learn are desirable.
• Experience in community nursing and broad clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed nursing care with holistic assessment and evaluation.
• Work autonomously within supervision and seek advice as needed.
• Be part of the Llandrindod Wells District Nursing Team and participate in the preceptorship program.
