Job summary

East Cheshire NHS Trust is seeking a Community Staff Nurse to join our innovative Community Nursing Teams across neighbourhood services. You will contribute to high standards of nursing care, functioning as an autonomous practitioner with holistic assessment and delegated responsibilities within a multi-disciplinary team.

The role includes travel across the county and emphasises patient-centred care, with opportunities for professional development and DBS checks as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Current registration with NMC.
• Recent professional development in an up-to-date portfolio.
• Non-medical prescriber.
• Teaching / Assessing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and support the delivery of high standard nursing care as part of a team.
• Autonomous practitioner with holistic assessment and delegation where appropriate.
• Carry out assigned tasks including direct nursing care and administrative duties as delegated by the nurse in charge.
• Travel across the county to meet the mobility requirement and visit patients.
