Job summary

Westwood Homecare is seeking a Registered Nurse (Adult) to deliver high-quality clinical care in clients’ own homes across Greater Manchester. You will provide leadership, ensure NMC/CQC compliance and oversee treatments, medication and safeguarding while working autonomously in the community.

The role offers ongoing CPD support, mileage reimbursement, and the chance to shape a growing homecare service with strong clinical governance.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
Experience in community nursing, complex care or long-term conditions.
Strong governance and safeguarding understanding.
Ability to work autonomously in the community and document clearly.
Experience supporting CQC inspections or audits.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to Service Users in their own homes.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for complex health needs.
Provide and oversee treatments including wound care, PEG feeding and diabetes management.
Medication administration and clinical monitoring in line with policy.
Monitor outcomes, escalate to GPs or emergency services when needed.
Maintain compliance with NMC, CQC and internal policies.
Provide clinical supervision and training to staff delivering nursing tasks.
Promote safeguarding, documentation, and continuous quality improvement.
