Responsibilities

• Provide direct antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care to women and their families within the Mid Argyll locality.
• Support women in choosing place of birth and practice autonomously within a community midwifery model.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies during out-of-hours with support from GP and hospital staff.
