NHS Ayrshire & Arran is recruiting Integrated Midwives for our maternity services based at Ayrshire maternity unit and community bases including the Isle of Arran. You will join a supportive team across hospital and community settings.

The role requires registered midwives with NMC registration and at least one year of post‑registration experience, with flexibility to work across days, nights, weekends and on-call.

Qualifications

• Be a Registered Midwife with current registration on the NMC Register.
• Have a minimum of one year's post-registration midwifery experience.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and evidence-based maternity care.
• Possess excellent communication, organisational and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the maternity on-call rota.
• Redeployment to other women and Children's areas to support safe staffing levels and service delivery.
• Work across the full maternity pathway across hospital and community settings.
• Support women and families throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
