Job summary

W Talent Finance is partnering with a well-established, independent accountancy practice in Barnsley to recruit a Client Manager. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of established clients, acting as the trusted contact for accounting and tax needs and delivering high-quality service.

Working closely with a senior team, you will build strong relationships with business owners and individuals, using modern technology to support efficient service delivery and proactive advice.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent, although strong relevant practice experience will also be considered.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients.
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of established clients across a range of sectors.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with business owners and individuals.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients across their accounting and tax requirements.
• Prepare and review company accounts and financial statements.
