Job summary

Bridgewater Resources UK, an established electrical wholesale group, is expanding its Trafford Park operation in Manchester. We seek a proactive Business & Sales Manager to lead the development of the new business with autonomy and responsibility.

You will drive sales growth, build supplier and customer relationships, understand industry requirements, and shape how the operation grows while leading a small team as it expands.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, business development or sales management.
• Good knowledge of industrial electrical or mechanical products.
• Proven ability to identify, develop and win new business.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial approach.
• Confidence to work autonomously and make decisions.
• Natural leadership qualities.
• Ambition to own and grow a business.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and new business development within the industrial sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Use industry knowledge to understand customer requirements and identify commercial opportunities.
• Take responsibility for performance and growth of the business.
• Manage and develop the team as the operation grows.
• Involvement across sales, purchasing, logistics, marketing and wider operations.
• Monitor performance against targets and maximise results.
• Represent the business and establish a local presence in Manchester.
