Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner for a GP practice in Erith. This role offers autonomous clinical work with flexible sessional hours and full support from an established multidisciplinary team.

You will assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes in a well-organised primary care environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
• V300 Independent Prescribing.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings.
• Familiarity with EMIS / SystmOne / Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required.
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation.
• Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.
