Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Bournemouth. The role offers autonomous clinical work with strong MDT support and flexible sessions for an experienced primary care clinician.

You will assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes in a well-organised primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7 / Postgraduate) required.
• V300 Independent Prescribing certification.
• Recent experience in primary or urgent care settings.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Ability to work autonomously and safely.

Responsibilities

• Run minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Complete long-term condition reviews.
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
• Order and interpret investigations.
• Maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.
