Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work for a GP practice in Chatham. You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes within a well-organised primary care environment.

The role offers flexible sessional work with up to 4 days per week, morning and afternoon clinics, long-term block bookings, and full support from a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, Practice

Qualifications

• Must hold Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
• V300 Independent Prescribing credential.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings.
• Ability to work autonomously and safely.
• Familiarity with EMIS / SystmOne / Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews
• Ordering and interpreting investigations
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation
• Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs
