Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to fill flexible regional primary care sessions around Guilsborough. The role offers autonomy within established GP and community clinics with supported workflows and clear pathways, enabling high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will perform advanced assessments, triage, manage same-day presentations and prescribe within your scope, with ad-hoc and regular bookings available to fit your portfolio.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification.
• Independent Prescribing (V300).
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills.
• Confidence working autonomously in new environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions.
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic's digital systems.
