Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver autonomous ANP-led clinics across Sandwich and surrounding regions in primary care settings. The role offers flexible sessions with full clinical autonomy within established GP and community services.

You will manage acute and minor illnesses, perform triage, prescribe within competence, and maintain precise notes in digital systems, ensuring safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification is required.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) is required.
• Experience in GP/urgent care or community settings is essential.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and ability to work autonomously are needed.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Review results and handle routine follow-up actions.
• Record accurate clinical notes in the clinic's digital systems.
