Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join a GP practice in Caterham. You will work alongside GPs and nurses to deliver comprehensive assessments and safe clinical decisions in a primary care setting with steady patient demand.

The role offers flexible ad-hoc or regular sessions, morning and afternoon clinics, and the ability to contribute to urgent care, routine appointments, and clinical triage while maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner training at Level 7.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage
• Prescribing independently where qualified
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records
