Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a GP practice on David Street. The role offers structured, well-supported clinical sessions for an autonomous ACP who thrives in primary care with clear workflows and steady patient demand.

You will work alongside GPs, nurses and wide clinical staff to provide comprehensive assessments, make safe clinical decisions and contribute to good patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner training completed.
• Independent prescribing qualification (V300) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records.
