Teaching Vacancies in Harlow seeks an Automotive Technician to support practical sessions, prep equipment, and assist staff in delivering engaging lessons. You will manage stock, tools, and general workshop maintenance to help run the automotive program smoothly.

The role requires an A Level 2 qualification in Automotive Technology, GCSEs in Maths and English, and First Aid at Work or willingness to obtain. Teamwork and independent initiative are valued in a collaborative teaching environment.

Formación

• A Level 2 qualification in Automotive Technology or equivalent.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
• First Aid at Work training (or willingness to undertake).
• Teaching qualification not mandatory, but strong communication and teamwork are valued.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in practical sessions, preparing equipment and resources for teaching delivery.
• Supervise student use of tools and equipment as needed.
• Organise and maintain stock, tools and oversee general vehicle repairs and workshop maintenance.
• Collaborate with staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Support staff to maintain Health & Safety and good housekeeping in workshops.
• Maintain automotive resources for effective delivery.
• Deliver key units within the Automotive Curriculum timetable.
• Assist in planning and maintenance of Teaching and Learning strategies.
