Job summary

Kwik-Fit (GB) Limited is seeking a Technical Trainer Grade 1 to deliver practical, business-focused training at our Training Academy in Sheffield. The role supports apprentices and existing staff, ensuring programmes are engaging and aligned with Kwik-Fit's policies.

Based at the Training Academy, you will train on hybrid and customer service topics, travel to other UK sites as required, and report to the Technical Training Delivery Manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with effective time management.
• English and maths skills.
• Full UK Cat B Driving Licence – essential.
• Coaching in the workplace is beneficial.
• Training delivery or facilitation skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Training programmes to learners, including apprentices and existing staff.
• Act as training ambassador for the business and mentor when required.
• Develop content covering both technical and customer service topics.
• Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders with good time management.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, conduct, performance and confidentiality.
• Travel to other UK sites as required by the business.

Are you an automotive professional with practical hands on mechanical experience who enjoys sharing your knowledge to help others in their career? Would you like to dedicate yourself to the training, coaching, developing of others? -then this could be a great opportunity for you!

Reporting to our Technical Training Delivery Manager and based at our Training Academy, the Technical Trainer Grade 1 will deliver Technical Training programmes, which are business focused, professional, engaging and consistent with the business philosophy and policies.

This could be to new colleagues within our apprentice programme, or existing Kwik-Fit team members needing training development. As part of the People Team, you will deliver Technical Training initiatives that enable improved performance and productivity of our people. Experience in both technical and customer service skills including: Hybrid & Electric vehicles , MOT and customer care would be very beneficial.

This permanent role is based upon 40hrs per week between Monday and Friday based onsite at our Automotive Training Academy in Sheffield, to include travel to other UK sites if required by the business.
