Job summary

Logic 360 Group seeks a Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop team, ensuring vehicles are finished to the highest standards for customers. You will work under supervision to deliver quality servicing, repairs, and inspections.

The role requires IMI or City & Guilds Level 3 in light vehicle repairs, a Full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently with attention to detail. Monday to Friday, early shift, with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• IMI or City and Guilds level 3 light vehicle repairs.
• Full UK/EU driving licence.
• Experience in a similar Vehicle Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and general repairs to vehicles.
• Perform tyre changes for a variety of vehicles.
• Road tests and inspections as required.
• Restore vehicles to original condition following approved methods.
• Plan and manage time to meet deadlines and efficiency targets.
• Assist with general workshop tasks as needed.
• Diagnose problems, including electrical diagnosis when required.
• Handle warranty repairs per manufacturer standards.
• Ensure documentation and procedures are accurately completed.

Job description

Working Shift Patterns:

Monday to Friday

Working Hours:

06:30-16:30

Salary:

£16.59 - 18.61 per hour (Up to £46,093.00 per annum)

Our client is a prominent leader in the field of automotive logistics and remarketing solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join our client's team. Within this role, you will be working as a part of an experienced workshop team, ensuring our vehicles are finished to the highest standard for our customers, under the support and guidance of the supervisor and Workshop Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general servicing of vehicles.
• Undertake general tyre changing duties for a variety of vehicles.
• Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as and when required.
• Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
• Plan and organise time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines, achieving efficiency.
• Assist with general workshop tasks as and when required
• Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
• Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
• Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed

Qualifications:

• IMI or City and Guilds on level 3 light vehicle repairs.
• Full UK/EU driving licence.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
• Qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.
• You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
• You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
• Excellent attention to detail
