Job summary

Tate Milton Keynes is seeking an Inventory & Stock Co-ordinator to join a busy automotive workshop in Slough. You will manage stock received, stored, tracked and supplied, ensuring accuracy and availability.

The role suits someone with experience in stock control or stores roles, good IT skills and a customer-focused approach. It is a temporary assignment of at least 3 months, with a Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm schedule and GBP13.88 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stock control or inventory management.
• Experience in stores/parts roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of stock control and inventory accuracy.
• Receive, organise and monitor stock levels using company systems.
• Support and undertake stock deliveries as required.
• Ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy with paperwork and IT systems.
• Build relationships with colleagues, technicians and customers.
• Resolve stock discrepancies and improve stock accuracy.
• Plan, organise and prioritise workload across multiple systems.
• Support operational activities and undertake additional duties as required.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and company standards.
• Represent the business professionally at all times.
