Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Stock / Inventory Controller for an automotive bodyshop in Coventry. The role focuses on managing stock and supplies to keep the workshop operating efficiently, including paints, fillers, primers, consumables and tools.

You will maintain accurate stock records, monitor usage, place orders, receive deliveries and liaise with suppliers and workshop teams to prevent shortages and downtime. This is an ongoing contract at £18.00 per hour, Ltd or Umbrella.

Qualifications

• Experience as Stock Controller or Inventory Manager.
• Background in automotive/bodyshop supply chain.
• Familiarity with stock records and ordering processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock levels and inventory records.
• Order paint, filler and bodyshop consumables.
• Monitor stock usage and reorder supplies.
• Receive and check deliveries.
• Liaise with suppliers and workshop teams.
• Ensure materials are available when required.
