Job summary

Protyre Autocare in Plymouth is seeking an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.

You will carry out safe, high-quality work across vehicles, including fast-fit tyre fitting with alignment readings, brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and more. This role requires a keen eye for diagnostics and a commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• Level 3 Automotive Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience with mechanical and fast-fit repairs across vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, high-quality work on each vehicle.
• Perform fast-fit tyre fitting using alignment equipment and readings.
• Fit brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other parts.
• Carry out MOT repairs.
• Follow vehicle inspection procedures and health & safety rules.
• Use diagnostic equipment to complete thorough testing and repairs.
• Advise on additional issues and timelines for future repairs.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with safety regulations.
