Job summary

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Worthing offers a Parts Advisor Apprenticeship. You will undertake a three-year Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle), gaining hands-on experience across diagnostics, testing, servicing and repairs.

Training combines virtual classroom learning and face-to-face weeks at the VWG training centre, with all training costs, travel and accommodation covered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
• Test parts and systems to ensure correct operation.
• Follow checklists to inspect critical vehicle parts.
• Carry out bumper-to-bumper service and inspection.
• Maintain electronic systems including on-board entertainment.
• Repair and maintenance of vehicle parts (clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes, suspension).
• Complete legible documentation for customers and centre records.
• Keep a clean and safe work environment.
