Qualifications

Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle).
Certificate in Automotive Refrigerant Handling.

Responsibilities

Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
Test parts and systems to ensure correct working.
Follow checklists to examine critical parts of vehicles.
Carry out bumper to bumper service, inspection and maintenance.
Maintain electronic systems including on board entertainment.
Repair and maintain vehicle parts such as clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes and suspension.
Complete legible paperwork for customers and centre records.
Keep a clean and tidy work environment.
