Job summary

Emotiv Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced quality professional for the automotive manufacturing sector in the United Kingdom. You will report and record quality concerns on customer parts, help ensure the Quality function participates in projects and design activities, and coordinate rework across sites.

Experience in APQP, Global 8D, PPAP, SPC/CPK, Taguchi, Ishikawa, Poke-Yoke, Kaizen and Six Sigma is essential; vehicle assembly knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Broad experience in a Quality Function within the automotive industry.
• Working knowledge of APQP, Global 8D, PPAP, SPC, CPK, Taguchi, Ishikawa, Poke-Yoke, Kaizen and 6 Sigma processes.
• Experience with vehicle assembly and manufacturing processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Report and record all quality concerns found on business parts at the customers’ assembly plant
• Assist in ensuring the Quality function actively participates and supports in project and design activities
• Co-ordination of rework activities
