Apex Resource Management in Oldbury is recruiting a Quality Engineer to support QA, QC and continuous improvement across our high-volume manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Technical & Quality Director, you will ensure robust quality control and drive improvements in product and process quality.

Qualifikationen

• Quality engineering experience within the automotive industry is essential.
• Knowledge of IATF requirements.
• Knowledge of VDA 6.3 audit policies, procedures and requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality policies and system requirements.
• Experience using Quality Core Tools and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Sound understanding of inspection techniques for plastic mouldings.
• Experience supporting NPI, APQP and PPAP documentation.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental procedures.

Aufgaben

• Ensure robust quality control and quality assurance within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Review and analyse Non-Conforming Product daily.
• Lead operational teams through root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Apply continual improvement techniques to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
• Manage and develop the Quality Management System.
• Support the organisation's progression towards IATF and ISO 14001 standards.
• Use Quality Core Tools and other quality methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Assist with NPI and APQP documentation, including PPAP documentation.
• Lead site audits covering quality systems, manufacturing processes and products.
• Lead customer and external audits.
• Support the ongoing improvement of quality policies, procedures and controls.
