Job summary

McLaren Automotive in Woking is seeking a Quality Compliance Engineer to join the Quality team within the Quality Compliance and Change Management department. The role focuses on COP, IATF 16949 compliance, ELV/RRR requirements, and continuous improvement across all functions in the Quality department.

You will report to the Compliance Manager and drive independent, objective actions across key business processes while maintaining essential QA documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive industry is beneficial.
• Knowledge of legislative requirements for passenger cars and COP procedures.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) is beneficial.
• Project management skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create COP control plans for vehicle variants and yearly COP test plans.
• Plan and execute COP test plans to ensure timely completion.
• Plan and execute COP audits in line with certification authorities.
• Create and execute internal audit plans aligned with yearly schedule.
• Support completion of activities leading to IATF 16949 certification.
• Assess ELV/RRR compliance and drive follow-up actions.
• Generate COP/ELV/RRR/QMS compliance reports and communicate progress.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the department.
• Maintain all compliance-related internal documentation per QMS requirements.
