Job summary

Johnsons Cars in Solihull is seeking a Progress Chaser for our busy new Seat/Cupra dealership. You will monitor vehicle progression through preparation, ensure quality standards and keep teams updated.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, works to deadlines, and values compliance with guidelines. Prior vehicle sales experience would be a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to work well in a team and build positive relationships.
• Compliance with relevant guidelines and policies.
• Previous experience in vehicle sales would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the progress of vehicles through the preparation process and ensure that they meet agreed quality control standards as well as identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the process, keeping all parties updated
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles, managing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure that they meet quality standards in line with preparation requirements
• Maintain accurate records of all vehicles produced
• Manage and process vehicles throughout the whole journey in the dealership
• Build and maintain positive relationships with all team members
• Managing flow of vehicles both in and out of the site and completing relevant collection/delivery notes identifying and recording and damage, missing parts or issues
