Bennetts is seeking a proactive Parts Advisor to join our busy branch in Luton. You will help retail and trade customers, identify correct parts, prepare quotes, check stock, and process orders with accuracy.

A good knowledge of vehicle makes and components, strong communication, reliable IT skills, and a team-focused attitude are essential to deliver excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Experience with dealer or parts systems is advantageous and punctuality is important.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Parts Advisor or Sales Advisor preferred.
• Good knowledge of vehicle makes, models and components.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Confident IT skills.
• Familiarity with dealer or parts systems advantageous.
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Serve retail and trade customers in person, by phone, and via email.
• Identify correct parts using manufacturer catalogues and systems.
• Prepare quotes, check stock availability, and process orders efficiently.
• Up-sell related products, accessories, and special offers where appropriate.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to source non-stocked items.
• Support the warehouse with parts requests and timely supply.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, backorders, and special requests.
• Help with stock checks, stock rotation, and general housekeeping.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Ensure all documentation and systems are updated accurately.
