Job summary

Bennetts is seeking a Parts Advisor in Stevenage to assist retail and trade customers, identify correct parts, and manage quotes and orders from our busy workshop and trade counter. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to source items and ensure timely supply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Parts Advisor or Sales Advisor is preferred but not essential.
• Good knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and components is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve retail and trade customers in person, by phone, and via email.
• Identify correct parts using manufacturer catalogues and systems.
• Prepare quotes, check stock availability, and process orders.
• Upsell related products, accessories, and offers where appropriate.
• Source non-stocked items through suppliers and internal departments.
• Support the warehouse with parts requests and timely supply.
• Maintain records of orders, backorders, and special requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Ensure documentation and systems are updated.
