Job summary

Greenhous Cold Meece seeks a skilled Vehicle Painter & Prepper to prepare vehicles and carry out paintwork to a high standard. You will ensure finishes meet quality expectations, maintain a clean work area, and follow health and safety procedures.

The role is Monday–Friday, 7:00–17:00, with 30 minutes lunch, salary dependent on experience. Ideal candidates have experience in vehicle preparation and painting, strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a

Qualifications

• Experience as a Vehicle Painter or Prepper.
• Strong vehicle preparation and paintwork skills.
• Knowledge of paint products and finishing processes.
• Attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage workloads.
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Professional and reliable approach.
• Understanding of workshop health and safety.
• Full UK driving licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, filling, masking and priming.
• Carry out paint repairs and full paintwork to a high standard.
• Match and mix paint colours accurately to achieve the required finish.
• Prepare surfaces for a smooth and high-quality finish.
• Carry out polishing and finishing work following painting.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Identify imperfections and carry out remedial work.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and productivity targets.
• Ensure tools and materials are used safely and correctly.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work area.
• Follow company health and safety procedures and COSHH requirements.
• Work with team to complete vehicles to a high standard.
• Carry out other reasonable duties to support the business
