Job summary

Group 1 Automotive’s Brighton Bodyshop is seeking a Paint Technician to prepare and prime bodywork to manufacturers' specifications, mix colours, apply paint to repaired areas, and polish to a high standard.

You will maintain up-to-date product knowledge, uphold excellent customer service, and work both independently and as part of a team. A Full UK Driving Licence and motor industry experience are essential. We offer generous leave, a pension, and flexible working options.

Qualifications

Full UK Driving Licence.
Motor Industry experience in a similar role is essential.
Happy to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work to timescales effectively, with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Preparing and priming bodywork to manufacturers' specifications.
Mixing and colour-matching, painting all repaired areas to a high standard, and polishing as appropriate.
Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
