Job summary

ABL 1 Touch is seeking a Vehicle Paint Technician to repair motor vehicles to manufacturer standards in a busy bodyshop. You will work Mon-Fri, 10:30–20:00, with a supportive team and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Paint & Bodywork is required.
• Experience in Bodyshop repairs is essential.
• Knowledge of waterborne paints and aluminium repair preferred.
• Bonding, sealer and filler repair skills desired.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Observe, recognise, and report on vehicle structure and paintwork.
• Ensure vehicles comply with safety standards on return to customers or note faults on the job card.
• Report all faults and defects noticed whilst working on vehicles.
• Indent for replacement parts and record usage.
• Paint repair and application of topcoat to manufacturer specifications.
