Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Mechanical Technician to join a busy workshop in Queenstown. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose engine and transmission issues, and carry out repairs to a range of vehicles, ensuring work aligns with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanical Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical systems and diagnostic procedures.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as automotive diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, and braking system issues.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical faults.
• Carry out complex mechanical repairs and replacements of parts.
• Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and manage service documentation accurately.
