We are currently recruiting an experienced Automotive Logistics Manager for a well-established and rapidly growing freight forwarding company based in Birmingham. The Role

This position involves dedicated account management supporting a large-scale automotive client. You will oversee both international and domestic freight operations, collaborating closely with internal teams, external carriers, and the client’s supply chain department to ensure seamless logistics performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage end-to-end logistics and freight forwarding activities for a major automotive account
2. Coordinate global transport solutions including air, sea, and road freight
3. Serve as the primary contact for the client’s logistics and procurement teams
4. Monitor operational performance, report on KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
5. Ensure full compliance with customs regulations and trade controls
6. Proactively resolve service issues and maintain high customer satisfaction

About You

• Proven experience in freight forwarding or international logistics
• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing sectors is highly advantageous
• Strong coordination and communication skills with a client-first mindset
• Ability to manage complex, time-sensitive logistics with attention to detail
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach with excellent stakeholder management skills
