Job summary

RecruitedUK is seeking a Skills Development Tutor for Automotive & IQA in Greater Manchester. This role blends hands-on industry expertise with teaching, coaching and quality assurance responsibilities to help learners progress.

You will manage your own learner caseload, deliver engaging face-to-face and blended learning, develop high-quality materials, assess learner work and support continuous improvement in line with Ofsted standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' vocational Automotive industry experience.
• 1–2 years' teaching, learning and assessment experience.
• Relevant professional/industry qualifications.
• Experience working within quality and Ofsted standards.
• A Diploma in Education and Training (DET) or equivalent, or willingness to work towards one.
• Strong communication, coaching and learner engagement skills.

Skills Development Tutor Automotive & IQA

Salary: Up to £35,000 per year
Location: Greater Manchester Hybrid
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Automotive professional with a passion for teaching, coaching and developing others?

We have a fantastic opportunity and looking for a Skills Development Tutor specialising in Automotive and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) to join a growing education and skills team.

You ll work with learners across a range of programmes, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to progress in their careers.

The Role
