Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Project & Portfolio Manager for a family-run automotive recycling business based in Southampton. The role focuses on leading the Business Improvement Programme, coordinating across vehicle purchasing, dismantling, warehouse operations, parts sales and customer service, to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in business improvement or project management.
Strong planning and prioritisation skills.
Excellent stakeholder communication across levels.
Proactive ownership and execution focus.

Responsibilities

Support planning, coordination, and delivery of the Business Improvement Programme.
Collaborate with Directors and Managers to identify operational opportunities.
Manage multiple improvement projects across departments such as purchasing, dismantling, warehouse ops, parts sales, and customer service.
Implement changes to improve efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction.
Monitor progress, KPIs, and outcomes; produce updates and reports for senior management.
Identify risks and opportunities throughout lifecycles; embed new processes and ways of working.
