Job summary

Pennon Group in the UK is seeking an organised Asset Transformation Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of the Reliability & Performance Transformation Portfolio. You will work with senior leaders to gain exposure to governance, planning, risk management and performance reporting while contributing to asset reliability and long-term value.

You'll collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Asset Management and Digital teams, develop dashboards, support business cases, and help

Qualifications

• Experience supporting transformation, change or improvement programmes.
• Experience working within asset-intensive environments such as utilities or infrastructure.
• Understanding of asset management and reliability/operational performance principles.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects within a programme or portfolio.
• Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Experience producing high-quality reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate day-to-day delivery of the Reliability & Performance Transformation Portfolio.
• Support portfolio planning, prioritisation and delivery tracking.
• Manage governance activities including steering groups, reports and decision registers.
• Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies and issues with escalation as needed.
• Produce portfolio dashboards, reports and performance insights for senior stakeholders.
• Support benefits tracking and realisation activities.
• Coordinate engagement across Operations, Engineering, Asset Management, Capital Delivery and Digital teams.
• Facilitate workshops, working groups and improvement activities.
• Contribute to business case development, investment proposals and strategic papers.
