Job summary

WIPAC Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to assist the Head of Programme Management in delivering automotive projects on time, within budget and to required quality. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, manage budgets, maintain schedules and ensure strong customer relationships.

You will drive improvements, mentor junior staff, and ensure documentation and processes meet company standards. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a technically based subject.
• Some project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2).
• Experience in an automotive company, ideally a 1st Tier supplier.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Programme Management to deliver projects within cost, quality and timing targets.
• Coordinate activities with a multi-disciplined team using best practice project management techniques.
• Maintain project budgets with accurate budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Maintain timing plans and coordinate with suppliers to ensure visibility and proactive risk management.
• Lead customer project meetings and be the primary contact for customers throughout the project.
• Chair and minute internal project meetings and manage open points.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures on all projects.
• Identify, report and escalate project risks.
• Support pre-production build phases and equipment development.
• Report status and KPIs to Senior Management monthly.
