Job summary

Futura Design is seeking a Feature Integration Engineer for an OEM client in Gaydon. This contract role is Inside IR35 with an end date planned for 31 March 2027. Umbrella pay rate is £35.80 per hour, reflecting automotive feature integration responsibilities.

You will ensure feature content is defined, delivered and signed off, coordinating across Marketing and Vehicle teams, and reporting readiness and risks throughout the programme, leading demonstrations for customer experience assessment.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of software/feature integration and systems engineering principles.
• Experience planning and integrating complex electrical and software systems in automotive or similar.
• Experience leading engineering product delivery using project management techniques.
• Proven ability to interpret technical data for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee that feature content for a vehicle programme is defined, delivered and signed off to target.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Programme Management and Vehicle teams to align feature plans.
• Report status via consolidated reports and organise feature demonstrations for customer experience assessment.
