Job summary

Our OEM Client based in Gaydon is seeking a Feature Integration Engineer on a contract basis (Inside IR35). The role oversees that the software feature content for a vehicle programme is clearly defined, delivered and signed off to target, coordinating with Marketing, Programme Management and Vehicle teams through to launch.

The role involves aligning plans with technical domains, managing feature design specifications, and reporting readiness and progress as the programme matures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of software/feature integration and systems engineering principles.
• Experience planning and integrating complex electrical and software systems in automotive or similar.
• Experience leading engineering product delivery using project management techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical data for business decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee that feature content for a vehicle programme is defined, delivered and signed off to target.
• Align feature offerings with Marketing, Programme Management and Vehicle teams; coordinate with technical domains.
• Manage feature design specification development and readiness for deployment and testing through to launch.
• Lead discussions with feature owners to capture risks and plans; report status via consolidated reports and feature demonstrations.
